Rossoiolo IGT Umbria Syrah, Alicante, Malbec

Fermentation and aged in steel for 12 months, with a brief refining in barrique and tonneaux, and a final in-bottle refining.
Brilliant ruby red.  The nose offers a range of well-blended aromas.  Marasca cherry , blackberry, black currant, roasted coffee bean, licorice, and dark chocolate, flavours that stand well together, and enhance each other.  On the palate, it fully reflects the aromatic aspects; it is lean, and balanced.  Freshness, flavour and subtle tannins, combined with a delicate alcohol level that doesn’t overshadow all.  This wine is very welcoming at the table, it pairs equally well with a meat and cheese platter, as well as with soup, a timballo, or a roast.  Try serving it at a cellar temperature of around 15-16 degrees.
