A dense ruby red, with violet reflections. The nose offers good complexity: fruit jam, marasca cherry and black currant, spicy tones of vanilla, licorice root, chocolate, with graphite mineral notes in the finish. The wine is very well-balanced on the palate, it’s warm, compact, with soft tannins Excellent persistence, and dominated by fruity references. Best combined with meats and great traditional Umbrian dishes.
